Global Agile Development is grounded in solid software principles promoted by the Capability Maturity Model (CMM and CMMI), traditional processes promoted by Project Manager Professional (PMP) certifications and emerging new process frameworks supported in the eSourcing Capability Model (eSCM) . Upon this foundation, Global Agile Development uses Agile development methodologies, including Rational Unified Process (RUP), Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum.
